Are there tricks to make patching a drywall ceiling spot easier?
My child caused an overflow in the upstairs toilet, and so now I have to repair a bit of flaking and water spot on the ceiling directly underneath. I have all the tools and supplies, but wonder if there are any shortcuts for working overhead instead of on a vertical wall?

Yes, my fav blog teaches a way to do it without much hassle. Aslo the HOME DEPOT has the mud you need. For the spot, be sure to use stain block primer: BIN or Kilz: check label as not all will block it.
