I have had extremely great luck with my Mantis tiller. Very little maintenence. I have really put it to the test on how durable it is by tilling a huge variety of areas, not only for myself but for several friends.
I agree about the Mantis tiller. I have had mine for many years and have used it for vegetable gardens, flower beds, etc in many different types of soil. It has always performed perfectly for me...and the best part is that it is lightweight and you can literally carry it around with you.
