Something is eating the root of some of my large shrubs!

    Voles eat shrub roots. Whereas moles usually make raised lumps in lawn, with voles it will look more like cracks or fissures. Then, check with a garden supply company as how to get rid of them.

    Sounds like voles. Trap them with peanut butter and small mouse traps

      Are they around the same size as a mouse? For some reason, I imagined them to be bigger!

    Sounds like voles to me too.

    No they are small but mighty when it comes to chewing things up. Kinda look like a black mouse.
