How do I get rid of wood boring bees?

I,ve tried pluging their holes with caucking but they eat their way back out. I have tried the jars and that does not work either.

    Go on YouTube and look up DIY Carpenter bee traps , they worked for me also seven dust works getting it in the nest . Not sure where they are going in , mine was under the sidewalk and I used the liquid kind and water to get it to go way under . You could put the powder into something that you can squirt it in the holes also . Hope this helps . Be careful

    Spray holes with W-D 40. Works for me.

    You can also use cigarette butts, but you also need to get their back door also. I have put some into some holes and the butts are still there are 3 or 4 years.
