Is there a simple way to stain a concrete patio?

I'd like to stain my concrete patio. Some of methods require many steps and very caustic materials. Do you have a simpler solution that will still looo great? The patio is very large, 30x20. Thank you

Scrub the concrete using a stiff broom to clean dirt off the surface. Then rinse the entire patio with water. This project is much faster and easier if you stainyour whole patio a single color. All you have to do is wet the concrete and apply the stain.
Thanks for your reply. So stain it while wet? One step and done? Then just seal it.
