How to fix the arms of an office chair?

The chair is fine but as you can see from the picture, the arm is not holding up at all.
I have no idea what it is made out of but it is cushioned.
Yikes. That looks like a chair that's been well sat in :)
How about reupholstering it with some store bought fabric? You can definitely DIY that.
Suede cloth works well ....is more pliable than vinyl.
If its just comfort your looking for, several people in my office have slipped fuzzy soft socks over them..
Hello, Sandy. I have a chair that has very similar arms. That bonded leather isn't worth spit.
I would look to see if you can remove the arm rest. Then I would simply wrap it in upholstery batting and recover in a new material. Hope that idea helps.
