I would like to paint my cabinets

my cabinets are cheap They are basic cabinets that are put in when house was built. my home is a regular track home wth the cheapest paint, fixture, doors n cabinets

    You can 100% do it and make it look like a million bucks! I recommend chalk paint, highly!

    is there any prepera needed. is the chalk paint dull

    Definately do the prep work. Sanding and using a base coat. Fill in any holes with wood putty and/painters caulk and sand again. The smoother they are to start the better the end result will be.


    Paint lightly. Don't try to cover in one coat. Take your time and paint two coats letting dry completely in between.


    They can look great but it takes time.

    Chalk paint does not require any sanding or priming. When you're done painting, be sure to apply a good coat of wax and buff to a shine. I use the inexpensive Johnson's Paste Wax...works like a charm!
