I have; however, unless the head of the bed is against a wall the pillows will fall off at night. Used one of those child minder rails to keep the pillows on the bed. When I made the bed you couldn't see the rail. Since my the head of my bed was at a window, I added enough window drapery panels to visually give a floor to ceiling look that matched the drapery on another window and both the closet doors that I had removed. Drapes and rods from Ikea. Recently reintroduced the headboard back where it belongs. Had "grab" areas that make it easier to turn over in bed. Gives the room a pulled together look when I make the bed. My oasis.

Thank you for your information. I didn't think it would work since my bed is up against the wall but the mattress tends to move with nightly use. This means I will be losing pillows just like I have lost other smaller items. Thank you so much and I will be looking for other ideas.

I have also tried that and ended up losing my pillow every night. No matter how much we pushed the head of the bed against the wall, it still moves mysteriously at night!

I not only lost my pillow, I lost glasses, my iPod and earphones, pens, candy, my reader, and I could go on an on. I expect once I start redoing the bedroom, there will be a goldmine of lost items waiting for me. It is a good thing the dog is big enough to stay put plus he has his own blanket at the bottom of the bed. Thanks for the validation, Michele. Mysteriously moves, huh?
