Cindy, there are tons of sealers for this application each with different lifespans and sheens. You can find them at Floor and Decor, Home Depot, etc.. You might want to consider an "Underdeck finish" or a ceiling that carries the water that passes through your deck out and away from your brick flooring.
By the way, I am local and if you would like a consultation in person to discuss the options, I would be happy to help.
We do have an underdeck ceiling we just put in and I love it! We're about to powerwash the brick and want it to looks it's best. Do you recommend any sealer over another?
Not sure of an exact product off the top of my head, but if this is a DIY project, a big box retailer may be able to tell you more about the feedback they've received on different products:
your best bet is buying the right sealer from a brick supplier,,, we use prosoco's silicone siloxane which is a penetrating sealer - pressure wash the brick - let dry - spray it on to rejection - easy !
Is the brick "flooring" pavers that are sanded or are they set with mortar? Makes a difference on what I would recommed. If you have sanded pavers, there is a process I like from Seal'n Lock that is very good, but does take a pro to put down. I also use a product that is a solvent based acrylic masonry sealer that leaves a matte finish and looks good. Prep is very important.
we did masonary restoration work for a living & all we ever bought from apron/vest stores was plastic sheeting by the roll,,, i've seen no indication the quality of their inventory has improved.
