I like to use lots of plants in pots. That way they are easy to change up and take with you. Also, some fun garden art such as bowling balls covered with those flat marbles and grouted. I go to Goodwill to find unusual containers for very little money.
Container garden with assorted differnt size pots and objects.
any decorations that can be stuck in the ground and moved with you are great. Plants i containers. I rent and had a huge garden last year using only containers on my porch and steps.
If you can find plastic milk crates, paint in fun colors and line in plastic , those can be used as planters .
I agree with above suggestions of pots. Also when pots are in a border or flower bed they look more attractive surrounded by mulch .
Great idea! Thanks
I am also a renter, and a professional gardener, so I totally agree with you about wanting a good looking garden and yard! Container gardening is really great. I've also added concrete orbs where the owner has rock. This way the rock looks more intentional and artsy. I also get plants for free that I don't mind leaving behind. I am doing a hosta garden right now under a large tree - I've dug it up and added a few hosta, but will wait to fill it out until I get free hosta.
