Can you convert a tri view medicine cabinet doors to a single door?

I have a tri view medicine cabinet that I want to makeover and it is just hung on the wall since I can't recess it do to slanted walls and I have an outlet on the side of it. So I don't want to replace the whole medicine cabinet but wondered if you could just convert it to a single door mirror medicine cabinet.

You could add a new door to the outer frame of the cabinet, but you would have two potential problems. The first would be the amount of space it would take when you opened it, and the second (more important) would be the weight, especially if you have a mirror attached to the door.

If your problem relates to accessibility (because of the three panels) perhaps two doors (opening in the center) might solve the problem. My other suggestion is to put some molding around the cupboard to make it look attractive and to fit in with the frame near the toilet.

I really like the way you have put in the little table (love the legs) - it is such an excellent use of space.

Do hardware stores even sell just 2 mirrored doors for a medicine cabinet and I wouldn't be able to put molding along the whole side due to the outlet

I think a single door is going to get in your way. You will have to step back to let it swing that far. Is there another reason besides cosmetic that you would like it to be a single door? If you really want a single measure the cabinet and buy a wall mirror and attach it with a piano hinge. I think you will need that big of a hinge to support the weight.
