Transition ideas between two tile rooms?

I have two transition pieces (wood) between two tile rooms, I can not find a piece to put there, I need ideas.

    Instead of the metal strip that is used often what about trying the rounded wooden molding. depending on what size you need you could trim down or sand down what's available. They have the transition pieces for do it yourself wooden floors or the rounded piece that goes on the edge of stairs. I just think the wood is nicer for transitioning between rooms

    Since you already have the wood transition piece, can you paint it to coordinate with the tile floors?

    If you have tiles leftover from both rooms, smash them up and use them as a mosaic transition. Or just do the same with complementary pieces. Fun, unexpected, and pretty.
