How permanent are the spray metall C paints(i.e. Rustoleum)
Wanted to use on cabinet hardware but not if they can't withstand wear and tear.

Be sure to use the Rustoleum Spray Primer first. Then once you spray the color you want on the hardware it will be long lasting. I have never had any of mine chip using this method.
I didn't sue the primer first, ours is now peeling and chipping, I wished I would have known about the primer.
scuff surface with sos pad and clean it. Then paint it. It will last longer. But no spray paint is permanent
