What is the best way to take old paint off of a tin ceiling?

I have tried overn cleaner and the paint remover strips which have not worked well. Please help!

How long did you leave the oven cleaner on? I read that you should let it sit for at least 2 hours and may take multiple times before getting all the paint off. Maybe you could buy a small amount of turpentine and try that.
