Food grade diatomaceous earth.
I used this for keeping bugs out of my herb garden and off my roses. Put a large jalapeno pepper, a couple cloves of garlic , and some vinegar in a blender and pulverize it. Drain into a spray bottle and add water. Got rid of aphids and other bugs!
You can pour cornmeal around the base of tomatoes plants and mix dish detergent and water and spray plants once a week.
