Have you thought about doing the countertops? There are a LOT of economical and doable projects. Personally, I love concrete countertop redos!

You can also change the whole look of the room by painting the walls. Go lighter or darker than before and use new accessories such as dishtowels, decor, etc to add pops of color. Paint your baseboards a crisp white if you like that style and it will also make a huge difference in the look of the room. You can also add new cabinet hardware to change the look of the cabinets even further.

  • paint the walls, change cabinet hardware, install new flooring, install a backsplash, install or make over counter tops, updated lighting fixtures.

Oh the possibilities are endless. Change out your hardware - or paint them. You can paint your countertops (if not granite) to look like granite or soapstone. What does your backsplash look like. So many easy changes (beadboard, tile, shiplap. Most pieces of metal can be painted for a cheap, updated look.
