How do I get old tape marks off my cherry dresser?

My son decided it was a good idea to tape my drawers shut before taking to storage. I don't want to remove the finish.

Have you tried baby out, mineral oil, goo gone? Use on inconspicuous spot first to make sure it doesn't damage the surface
Like dissolves like. I would try a little olive oil to soften and a plastic scraper...re apply and buff.

WD40 will do the trick! I had the same issue with a certain little kid and some stickers
WD40 is my go to experience with my husband and his duct tape love affair. The wd40 and some soft buffing will do the job.

You can also use spray PAM cooking spray to remove adhesives. Keep spraying and letting it sit until it loosens up.
wd-40. Let sit and wipe off with a damp cloth and dry.
