Any suggestions for "fading" my newer denim jeans?

The last of my really soft and faded jeans finally bit the dust. I miss them...and would like to get my newer jeans to that point of wear ASAP. Does anyone have any expertise in this area?

I've heard that the acidity in coffee beans could help with the fade if you rub 'em around where you want to see more fade in your jeans.

Rit laundry products makes a dye remover. You can vary the amount of color that is removed by how long you leave the jeans in the dye remover solution.

Back in the day, we would rub our jeans on the concrete sidewalk to 'wear them out.' Funny that we bought them new, paid a ton of $ but no way could they look new!

I remember rolling down hills and scooting on the side walk at the side of the house to fade and soften them. We also made a bleach water bath for them. Please make sure to only use a small amount of bleach and mix it up real good. Bleach will work fast and will fade after several washes.

If you only want them worn or faded in certain areas , use a pumice stone .
