When should I treat new sod?

Just had some sod put down and was wondering if and when I should treat it with fertilizer or weed and feed.

Ahhhh! Just keep it healthy with watering only for at least a month. If you want to encourage root growth, check out Jerry Baker's "tonic" recipe in his book The Impatient Gardener. It really works. And if you want to get rid of insects, add the tobacco juice. Strange, but true!
