How can I remove hard water stains from windows?

I can't seem to get the water stains cleared off the windows of my sunroom where the watering system hits the windows. It also leaves spots on my cars side mirror that I can't get rid of.

Vinegar is great to remove hard water spots. Use a newspaper sheet to wipe it dry.
Yes use straight vinager and let it sit on there to work at dissolving the minerals. You might try putting rainex on your window after, so that the water doesnt stick. Waxing the car also will protect it.
Have your sprinkler heads readjusted. We had to because the iron in our water was turning my siding orange rust.
Car polish might take off mineral deposits and protect them from further damag.
vinegar should take it off.
Use vinegar.
