How can I make a Solo cup sparkle chandelier?

I tried making 2 of these, and they fell apart. What kind of stapler do I need. I tried 3, and they did not work.

You are going to want a heavy duty stapler for this project to make sure they stay together.

OLD SCHOOL STYLE. I like a clear glue with a stapler for this. A heavy desk stapler worked best for me, but your hand will be worn out. It may take you several days for the stapling. We made these lamps with bottomless styrofoam cups in the early 70s. We glued colored crepe paper circles onto the lips of the cups. Be sure to keep shaping the cups as you go so that you have a round globe. And don't forget to add the light in the center with the cord coming out. Adding a chain means it will look like a hanging chandelier. Best wishes 😇

Joan, this is a video where a woman describes exactly what you need, including brand, size and other information for everything. For example, according to her she says that you need a 9 oz soft solo cup. She specifically states that others won't work. She also gives the exact brand of stapler you need. Here's the video, see if you have exactly what she shows.
