Start by brushing of dirt with a broom and then give them a good washdown with a hose. Use vinegar and a scrub brush to remove any unwanted algae and rinse again with a hose.

I used clorox bleach with water and a little dawn dish soap. I didn't measure anything, just mixed it as though I was doing some outdoor cleaning, sprayed it on, left it for about 15 minutes then hosed it off. That got rid of all the green mossy buildup and the rock looked great.

I mixed Dawn 2 drops and vinegar in spray bottle and let it sit then scrubbed and rinsed.
