Where can I purchase cabinet hardware at a reduced cost?

Now have gold finish. Change color or how do I clean what I have? Nothing I have tried works.
Everything in this big house is an oak finish. A med color. Baseboards, cabinets, Windows chair rails and doors. Paint or dont?

Google Resale Home stores in your area. They sell everything from sinks to doors to hardware, etc. The are sometimes linked to Habitat for Humanity but not always.
I have found some good pieces on line. Pinterest is a great source I look at the ones that has the sites going to web pages. I put my family to work for me also. One place in NY second hand source on mill st. If it is still there it is a great place.

Try painting the hardware you have first. Then if you don't like the look you could always shop for replacements. I like Rustoleum's Oil Rubbed Bronze in a spray can.
