We are redoing some things in our home. The kitchen is on the list. I am so confused about what appliances to buy. When I look at Consumer Reports, half the time it seems like the comments disagree with the ratings. I am currently looking at Subzero refrigeration products and Wolf appliances....HeAfTy price tags. Worth it?

Worth it? Only if you intend to REALLY use them. NOT just look at them. I have had some of both. They hold up about the same as everybody else as far as normal wear and tear. But if you plan on catering day in and day out, depending on what you get they offer a lot more space and use purposes for heavy use.

@Debbie Harris Thanks for your input, Debbie. I am not a caterer but I love to cook. Right now there are two of us and we have two full size freezers, fridge in garage and bar and French one in kitchen.... Truthfully, we could get rid of one freezer but the fridge in the bar and outside we use for over spill. I was hoping if I got the 36 inch fridge and the 30 inch freezer ( with cabinet panels) I could get rid of the freezer in large closet and put shelves in there. The new sub zeros have a built in line on the shelves that keeps liquids from spilling over!! We are going today to see a demonstration on the Steam Oven. Thanks again for your input
