    Hi Liz! You could put seed down. If you do, put a LOT down and then water, water, water. Every day. A lot! If you have access to sod, that's even better. I know here in Missouri, it's just not available unless you hire a company to sod your lawn. It's great, but expensive. We had a new deck put on this spring and they had to dig up our yard. Holy cow, it has been a real test of patience for me! I have seeded a few times. I coming along, but not fast enough for me! Ha. Again, if you seed, you have to really water every day and well. Hope I've helped some!

    You need to amend your sand with a lot of top soil,and lime.Choose a seed that is adequate for sandy soil,apply the seed and starter fertilizer,top with peat moss and keep moist until the seed germinates.

    With a sandy soil base it will be a bit harder. You would be wise to use sod and creat a small grass area and then use lol cal plants and rocis or some other decorative. Topping in the rest
