Buff off the rust using fine steel wool. Rustoleum makes a white appliance epoxy spray paint, or you can pick one of their fun bright colors and add a pop of color to your kitchen.
You can also use a chrome paint that is made for appliances. It is a roll on application that is literally liquid chrome....but yes, buff out your rust first!
