Personally I like high gloss in the kitchen because it helps create more light in the space, via reflection of sunlight that comes into the room. Good luck!
High gloss is nice in a kitchen because it reflects light, but be careful about lighting because it can cause a glare in certain areas. Another benefit of high gloss paint is that it is easy to wipe clean...but with that being said, it also shows every little speck of dust, grease, dirt, etc....so you may be doing more cleaning than before to keep it looking nice.
Yes. I just finished painting my kitchen cabinets. I would suggest putting flood floetrol in the paint to help give it a smoother finish.
I've done it, loved it in a retro kitchen of a house I rented at the time & super easy to clean up spills & splashes!
I love it! And sorta what I want myself. I say go for it. To me white kitchens can be styled in so many ways and changing decor with the seasons is easy too.
