When you work with pallets do you sand them 1st or after your done!

what are you using them for????
Pallets are always a bit rough, i have sanded down slightly just to be able to handle the wood without getting splinters, then build, then sand, stain, prime or paint.
Always good to sand before starting a project. The just some finish sanding after the project is done.
