Turkey in backyard garden area

I have a turkey invading my just plowed garden area. I want him to stay away before I plant in it and I found that holographic tape tied to a tree limb or post will help. I will put it way back from the garden in the direction he comes from to not keep the birds away and scraed off.. Right Now, Iam using an old broom handle beating on trees as I walk him back to woods. Photo of Turkey and my cat " Blak" ! Smiles, Cyndi
