One of my favorites is to use old bird houses with vining flowers that spill from the opening. Old work boots are cute too. They are inexpensive at secondhand stores, but be sure to waterproof. Old kitchen colanders are readily available at secondhand stores, all ready have drain holes and handles to hang with. Spray painted bright colors and they are adorable!

Hi Charlene, I've seen vintage sap buckets that are hung either on a fence, veranda, or deck that look beautiful. Walmart also carries some beautiful wrought iron hangers to suspend them. In the winter, you could put some evergreen branches and festive décor in them.

I did this last month...hung three baskets across the back of our fence. I can see them from our screened in patio.
