This home was built in the late 1970's as a typical Virginia Farmhouse. The homeowners purchased the home about 6 years ago with a dream of making it our own with personal, authentic details. Those they couldn't skimp on.
After researching to find that we made custom, functional shutters they took it to their advantage and built their own set of shutters painted with a custom color and personalized with a custom cut out. They know not another home has the same exact shutters as they do, and that make their home completely unique.

Don't the custom shutters add so much character, @Lorraine V ? We are thrilled that they chose to use a trout cut out to match their trout hatchery.
