I would make the best out of this....I, for one, love the vintage look. You can update by painting the mirror frame, adding new hardware, towels/shower curtain, etc. If you destroy the tile, I think it would be a shame. If you really hate it, think of some temporary fixes. Just a thought! BTW, I'd love to see the tile in a pix.
