Can anyone can give me any information on this cool older dremel/rotary tool that my boyfriend and I picked up at a second hand store. I know it's a Dremel made by Craftsman it has a few attachments that's with it but I need more info. It has another tip that holds the bit attachments but we don't know how to switch them out...it's not like the one I own now. It has some weight to it and it's very cool with a few awesome bits that go with it- just need a little more info on how to swap out the tips and such... Thanks you all very, very much
the tool laying in it's box
another picture of it in it's box
the outside of the box
and this is the tool
it's a little heavy for being a hand tool...

Its an early version of the modern hobby Dermal power drill. My dad had one. Pretty much the same as today, a few parts on today's shelve might not be compatible. It was made by Dermal, contracted for Sears' Craftsman. Sears did not make the craftsman tools, which today are now made in China and else where. Craftsman is slowly being broken off to other retailers, i.e. Menard's, due to the economy.

Cool tool, if it was mine I would use the cession shape tools at the top or the right side of the tool box and see if it fits the hexagon nut on the end of the tool where the bits go. it looks like that is where you can loosen the head to change out the bits.
