DIY Utensil Drawer Organizer

Rather than spending $25 on Amazon for plastic drawer organizers, I searched the stash of castoff wood in my basement and found some notched pieces previously used in the pantry to secure the roll-out shelves. I also found a castoff piece for the slats. A few cuts with the chop saw and I had a very function, free (!) drawer organizer that's pretty to boot!
It pays to see what's languishing in the basement. Excess wood from the kitchen pantry did the trick.
A drill and a wood chisel were needed to carve out the area where the drawer screw prevented a snug fit.
A bit of vintage Contact paper adds a pretty touch.
Like items are corralled together for easy access and safety.
