First, what is the ceiling made of? Next, what caused the sagging? A leak of some sort? Has that been fixed? Cheapest way is to do it yourself plus what it costs for materials to do so. Not sure what to tell you to use to replace since I do not know what your ceiling is made of now. Can you post a photo?
I'd remove that part of the ceiling and see what caused it. After repairing the culprit, you can cover the ceiling with anything. Look at beadboard, shiplap and there are many tin products are available.
