My stone window ledge is broken at the corner edge. How to repair?

This window ledge is about 2feet long and approx. 6 inches depth. The broken part of the ledge is about 5 inches in length. I would like to do this myself. I am aware it will take time and patience. But need the correct materials and best way to build this edge back up. Hope you can help me . Regards Sarah
