There is some great inspiration from fellow Hometalkers- http://www.hometalk.com/categories/makeovers/bathroom
are you into themed decorating as in sea shells? or basic functional design? personally i like white walls in a light sheen- my area is prone to mold and it shows up very well in the white walls.- easier to clean.. better for putting on makeup. i don't have a closet in the bath, so i have an over the commode storage shelves with baskets on the shelves to discretely hold items such as deodorant toothpaste, brushes, combs. i have a very nicely grained pine board that now has coat hooks on it- mounted to the wall to hold towels, wash clothes, robes- 1 hook per person in the house.. yes my bath is tiny, i can stand in the middle and touch both side walls. the color is in the shower curtain...and towels.
the house i moved out of? much bigger, had bath and water themed pictures in all three of the baths, decorative soaps on display , bath salts in decorative canisters, the pretty towels and bath mats out ... and the "black mail" pic- my cousins son about 3yrs old at the time- "watering" a fence post on a farm field. red suspenders down and bare bottom to camera.
I put sea shells and lighthouse in mine and painted the cabnit blue and white waves with more sea shells.
@dfm. I'm sorry you don't have your big beautiful bathrooms, but it sounds as if your sense of style and practicality has helped you make a beautiful tiny bathroom. I'm sure @Patty can find some ideas from you and other Hometalkers. Best wishes 😇
