Can I use chalk paint on metal?
I found a wire rack that is already painted. I want to know if I can paint over this without doing a stripping of the old paint. I bought chalk paint. Do you think it will cover over the painted rack?

Chalk Paint should work very well on your project and you won't need to strip the old paint first. Depending on the color you're using plan on 2-3 coats of paint and be sure to seal it when you're finished. Good luck on your project!
Hello, I think it depends on the finish of the paint that is on the rack now. If it is gloss or semi gloss I would scuff up the surface lightly so the paint will adhere. I think that would work good, Good luck!!
