What are some fun and unusual ideas for hanging chair swings?
We have a patio, woods, and open lawn with hills (more like slopes ) in our yard, but the trees are high branched oaks, and there is not a convenient place to hang a chair swing. Can you help?

Buy a hardwood swing frame (yard sales and flea market finds work). Stabalize / elevate with cement in decorative containers. Use a pergola kit, which can double for growing grapes or flowering vines, like clematis. If you like steampunk or industrial looks, buy used scaffolding from a contractor and paint to suit your taste.
I plan on doing this on my daugters swingset. So I can chill with her while she swings.and I'm sure I'll find her in it
