Ideas for cement floors?

Removed carpet from 3 bedrooms. Need ideas other than carpet or wood/tile for now.

How about painting or staining the floor to give it a really great look?
We removed our carpet and used garage floor paint in it for 3 years until we could afford a laminate. We used a kilz primer then t pain and sprinkled the acrylic flecks upon it. It was quite hard, good colors, swept and mopped easily!
You could consider vinyl plank flooring. It goes down with no tools except a utility knife, is very durable and waterproof, comes in hundreds of patterns, and is very reasonable.
