Should I put polyurethane over chalk and clay paint?

I bought my first quart of chalk and clay paint to try. I don't want it to rub off, and I don't want to have to wax it every year or whatever.

I have, and have had good results. Chalk paint, I have found, rubs off and the poly will prevent that from happening. Use a water base poly to prevent yellowing.

Yes you can, but be sure to use water based Urethane, as the other will yellow with age.
