What is the best leveling material when setting a replacement bathtub?

    depends on the subfloor....first floor with concrete slab use concrete leveler.....on second floor with wood subfloor, use wood shims

    Concrete. Several globs around the center. You want a solid base so the tub doesn't shift or move.

    I used a topcoat self leveling compound and shims, because I replaced my tub on the second story.
