Not sure if you have electric or gas but this is how I do my gas. Remove the racks, sprinkle baking soda along bottom, and wet with hydrogen proxide. Spread evenly and allow to sit over night. For the next part I recommend putting something down on the floor because it can be a little messy (or that might be just me ). Wipe with wet rag. If you have a stubborn spot use a plastic scrubbie. To clean the racks I put a bowl of amonia in the oven over night and the next day wipe clean.

Do you have the instruction book that came with your appliance? Is the oven self-cleaning? You can call the manufacturer, and they could probably assist you with this or go on line and see if manufacturer has a website. I call companies all the time asking questions.

I just made up a very large 3-ring binder and put ALL instruction books I could find in the house into this binder, slipping the booklets into plastic 3-ring protective sheets available at Office Depot. Then I made up a list by room of what is in each room.

    EXAMPLE:

    Kitchen

    • Oven - XYZ brand - self cleaning
    • Dishwasher - XYZ
    • etc.

    Basement

    • Washer
    • Dryer
    • Furnace
    • etc.

Sounds like I have OCD but it has helped me find information easier by making up the binder.
