How do I clean my cedar deck of good old green algae- nature friendly?

Always shaded but too slippery when wet. So I scrub but can't seem to completely remove the hazard.

do you put bleach in water when you scrub? That should kill it.
Use a product called Wet and Forget safe for all surfaces
after you scrub, pressure wash and then put deterrent on it
