Is it possible to paste tiles directly on the marble floor?

Existing floor donot want to remove due to lot of work

    Arun, it is possible to do almost anything to your floor, but it is NOT a good idea to paste tile on top of marble. Clean the marble floor. Buy several large and small rugs to cover cracks and stains. Then rearrange your furniture to fit the position of the rugs. Best wishes 😇

    No. Tile needs a flat almost solid level substrate. Very few adhesives will adhere tile to marble. Any disturbance to the marble floor or subfloor will be transferred to the tile. Also added height can be a problem.

  • I would love a marble floor, do you know how lucky you are? If you really want tiles instead of marble, the best way is to do the work right the first time around. Remove the marble and give away or sell it. Then do what you have to for the tile.
