How can I preserve and used fresh leaves from trees not autumn leaves

I traveled out west and picked some interesting leaves from the state trees of the states I visited. How can I preserve them and use them in a craft

    As children we used to iron leaves between two sheets of wax paper. :-)

    I did what Paula did and then framed them in a large picture frame . It would be cute if you placed a scrapbook label next to the leaf with the name of the tree and which state you visited when you obtained it.

    Place the leaf between two sheets of wax paper and then iron it. You could then cut the leaf out and mount it in a picture frame. Or make a shadow box and put a couple leaves in it. You could glue the map of the state inside the box too. This would preserve your leaves (and memories) for a long time to come. Hope this helps.
