How can I add runners

How do you add a skirt baseboard to stairs that go all the way to a drywalled wall? The stairs are round of course so cutting around that looks like it could be hard?

With a curved staircase, each step must be carpeted separately. Since they may be of different sizes and shapes and might not be uniform. Each piece of carpeting would run from the bottom of the riser to the bottom of the next riser. This will create the same waterfall appearance, but will give you the option later of replacing a single step or section if the carpeting becomes worn.

This article might be of further help to you. Good luck!

Thanks Shoshana but I'm talking about how the big board is cut around the bullnose stairs. I don't need carpet.
