Pulling morning glories just prunes them so they grow faster. I have tried roundup on them, it doesn't work. They still come back. Help please.

The use of thick mulches or weed barrier fabric can help smother the seedlings in spring. Do not allow the vines to flower and set seed, which will prevent some of the sprouts the following spring.

Dig deep and get the whole root. As Shoshana said, don't let the flowers set seed and that should help. That is how I kept my mint under semi control. My chives definitely were kept under control that way in a square foot area.

Thank you. I will try these. It makes sense.

Morning glories seed like crazy, barrier methods work best. I have the same problem.
