Update tile countertop?????

I have an old 4x4 white tile kitchen countertop. Anyone have an idea what to do to update it without tearing the whole thing out? I have 34 sq. feet of countertop and replacing it with granite or quartz is cost prohibitive at this time. Thanks to all

You can use Rustoleum or Gianni countertop restorations.

You could re-tile it using granite tiles. They are usually fairly reasonable at local home centers.

You could also paint it any color you like. Use Kilz or another good primer first then a good paint. You can make it look like granite by watching youtube video's on how to do it. One hometalker then ordered Giana sealer and saved a lot of money by doing it that way. Another hometalker recommended Parks Super GlaZe that they found a Home Depot. I searched for a sealer that would take some heat (like a cup of coffee, not a hot pan off the stove) and found nothing. But as soon as I went to Home Depot they knew exactly what I needed and it was Parks (I just told them what I wanted to do) There is an online link but I wanted to buy it locally. Here's the link
