What can I do about Bare spots in my lawn?

I have zoysia grass and last fall noticed some rather large areas where the grass was beco bare. I thought it would start to regrow, but it has not. Any ideas?

If it is zoysia, it will need to have plugs or lay new sod. But I would find out the reason why it died in the first place before fixing it.

Dig up the sod .I bet you have a lot of June bug larva eating up your roots.
